New 3D Printer Changing the Dimensions of Education at BHS

BHS Engineering and Technology Teacher Craig Hughes was able to purchase a new 3D printer for use in his classroom through a grant partnership between BCEF and the VISION fund. He was awarded the funds during our spring 2017 grant cycle.


This technology is brand new to BHS and has generated a lot of interest from staff and students. For students, about 150 students will have access and ability to use this technology for engineering design activities. As we look toward future academic school years, we look to increase the availability of this technology to about 2,000 students.
