The first merchandise in the BCEF-sponsored BHS Spirit Store is now in stock. The student-run Spirit Store is the result of a BCEF program to encourage student input into grant ideas.  BCEF grants committee members chose the Spirit Store from two proposals presented by the BHS Student Council last spring. With $1,000 in grant money in hand, Student Council sponsor Charlie Raab, BHS business teacher Cathy Martini, and BHS senior Julia Hunter got to work planning the store. The permanent location of the store will be announced in the fall, but the first shirts are on sale for students now. BCEF is proud to have had a part in bringing this innovative idea to BHS!
