BMS 6th Graders Help BCEF Prepare Staff Gift

It’s another WE CARE surprise gift, brought to the entire Batesville Community School Corporation staff by the sixth grade, via BCEF.

BCEF executive director Anne Wilson and VP Jama Linkel-Cleghorn had the distinct pleasure of participating in the Bulldog Ready Inspire and Impact Day at Batesville Middle School. They spent the day rotating through sixth grade classes, explaining more about what our nonprofit does for the school corporation. To show students how they can impact others right within their school system, Jama helped them put together our first staff appreciation gift of the semester: fruit-shaped car air fresheners and matching scented cards and stickers. Inside each card, the sixth graders wrote a note to a staff member and signed their name. The label on the front says: “We appreciate your SCENT-sational work. –Thoughtfully put together by a BMS sixth grader who appreciates you.” These gifts were dropped off at the schools for all staff.

As a special personalized touch, BMS sixth graders participated in passing out the gift to the staff at their school.

Thank you to the Bulldog Ready program staff for inviting us to participate in the Inspire and Impact Day, and thank you to our sixth graders for amazing work!
