Our Mission
The Batesville Community Education Foundation was established to provide additional funding for innovative learning opportunities that go beyond the basics in academics, athletics, and the arts in the Batesville public schools, enhancing the educational environment for all students.
BCEF accomplishes this by providing both:
- Programs that impact a large number of students and/or staff to improve the educational environment at the schools, such as grants
- Scholarships and other programs that provide a focused impact on a smaller number of students.
Our Vision
The vision of the Batesville Community Education Foundation is to bring engaging yet practical experiences to our students beyond what tax dollars will fund, enhancing the stability of the greater Batesville community through a stronger school system and exceptionally well-prepared graduates.
We encourage the input of students, teachers, parents, and community members in our quest to offer outstanding programs that will continue our school corporation’s legacy of benefiting our children’s educational future in a visionary manner.
Our Organization
The Batesville Community Education Foundation is an independent entity from the Batesville Community School Corporation. It has a separate board of directors and BCEF staff members work for the foundation and not the school corporation.
