BCEF will be awarding $30,000 to the Batesville Community School Corporation this fall to expand the flexible learning spaces initiative at Batesville Intermediate School and Batesville Primary School. With this grant, our total donation for flexible learning spaces to date comes to $50,000.

We’ll share more details about exactly what will be purchased at each school once those are finalized by the school administration, but here’s what we know right now:

Rather than transform an entire classroom, BIS plans to put some items in each of the third grade classrooms, impacting 168 students and seven teachers. BPS leadership is evaluating its needs and will announce its plans later.
